Andrew Martin (he, him, his) is a board certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. He began working in mental health as a RN at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha and worked with pediatric and adult psychiatric patients on the inpatient floor for just under 3 years. He has more recently been working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, providing medication management and psychotherapy at All Care Health Care Center in Council Bluffs, IA.

If appropriate, and if the patient is interested, Andrew prescribes medications to manage mental health conditions such as ADHD/ADD, Anxiety (panic attacks, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, ect.), Bipolar, Major Depressive Disorders, Schizophrenia, Substance Abuse Disorders, and more. Andrew partners with therapists in the area and will likely make suggestions or referrals for you to consider as well.

Andrew has opened Sunflower Psychiatric & Mental Health Services in order to meet a growing need for mental health medication providers in Omaha. Andrew enjoys spending a full hour with new patients, getting to know them and reviewing their medical and mental health history. Andrew is very considerate of each patient's goals and needs, and becomes a true partner with each patient to create a plan of care that is uniquely designed for them.
